OUR HISTORY

 

Parkview UMC was founded in 1956 in Madisonville, KY. At first meeting in the basement of the current pasonage, the church building was completed in 1956. Today, we are still a thriving church with a family atmosphere and a heart for the community.

 

Throughout the years, Parkview UMC has proudly served the people of our community and Madisonville in many ways. Whether through assistance to families in need, children's ministries, nursing home ministry, UMW, UMM, or through participation in the Great Banquet Community, Breaking Bread Ministry of Madisonville, or hosting community events and groups such as Boy Scouts; Parkvew UMC has always been concerned with having open hearts and open doors for our community and the world. We are dedicated to loving as Jesus loves us--unconditionally, and we strive to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world.

 

We look forward to many more years of serving others in the name of the Lord! With open hearts, open minds, and open doors we will continue to let God lead the way for our little church.
