OUR PASTOR
Pastor Dennis Cotton, his wife, Rachel, and two daughters, Ella and Samantha, joined the Parkview UMC family in June 2013. New to pastoral ministry, Pastor Dennis and his family were welcomed with open arms and lots of love. Dennis and Rachel, who married in 2000, are local-grown from the Madisonville area. Currently enrolled in seminary, Pastor Dennis also holds a Bachelor's Degree from Murray State University and is a 1996 graduate of South Hopkins High School.
Pastor Dennis is a very humble, Jesus-loving man who would rather give all glory to God and never accepts praise comfortably. If you meet him out on the street, you may talk to him all day and never suspect you're talking to a pastor--it's just how he is, a regular guy trying to do what God asks. So if you do meet him on the street, just walk on up and say "hi!"
